What Does Your Handbag Say About YOU!

It's true, whether your personality is outgoing or timid, whether you are flashy or shy, it will be reflected in your handbag of choice. Do you prefer to have a handbag that's large enough you can stuff it with everything you might need. I put these two handbags together in this picture because they are so different. The beige vinyl bag, of course is less expensive. But it's very unique, not quite a back pack, not quite a tote. The other handbag is a rather classy little number. It is designed with braided shoulder straps. It also has a zippered pocket on the back exterior of the handbag. It measures 16 x 11" x 5" and is a great bargain at $27.99.

New Handbag Website

There's a new handbag website that has just opened for business. This site is a little unusual, it's owned and operated by a woman with 20 years experience as a flea market vendor who knows wholesale and retail marketing like the back of her hand. However, she functions her business a little differently than most.

First of all, her employees have weekly meetings to determine what handbags they prefer. The handbags are like contestants and they are passed around the room and each employee gets the opportunity to examine it and determine if they like or dislike the product. Keep in mind most of her employees are good friends or members of her family. The decisions are then made which handbags go online and which ones go to the flea market.

If you've purchased any handbags online recently, you know that it's a real deal to find a designer inspired handbag for less than $45.00. So far, the most expensive handbag posted has been $29.99; and there is a flat shipping fee of only $2.50 a handbag. I'm sure she's having to eat some of that in profits, you can't ship a handbag anywhere for only $2.50. But, those are her terms.

So what can we look forward to at this new website. I believe eventually this small website will develop into a great offering of discounted faux designer handbags. Their mission is to categorize their handbags by the color and texture of the handbags. And, no I'm not a mind reader, just a reader, as this information was taken from their Policies Page.

Hot Colors For Fall 2009

I just recently learned about the Color Marketing Group; this is an International non-profit association of color design professionals that have been correctly predicting color trends for more than 45 years. They are predicting the following hot color trends for fall 2009.

Purple emerged as a hot fashion color last fall and it's here to stay. You will find a great selection of purple colors, from a very vivid purple to greyed-out violets, redder, plummier purples, and bluer fuchsias. Purple is the #1 must have color for fall 2009.

Also predicted to be "in" this fall is blue, from watery blues, sky blues and a whole range of blues. Neutrals are going to be hot, from cooled-down and greyed-out browns, greys and mauves. Also, expect to see lots of bright colors, yellows, oranges, turquoises, teals, and reds will abound in multiple hues.

Is Yellow The New IN Color For Summer Handbags

I just ran across this site that has dedicated one of it's pages to yellow handbags. According to them, this is the new color for summer handbags. And, actually, I really liked some of these purses, even if they were yellow. LOL!
