Hot Colors For Fall 2009

I just recently learned about the Color Marketing Group; this is an International non-profit association of color design professionals that have been correctly predicting color trends for more than 45 years. They are predicting the following hot color trends for fall 2009.

Purple emerged as a hot fashion color last fall and it's here to stay. You will find a great selection of purple colors, from a very vivid purple to greyed-out violets, redder, plummier purples, and bluer fuchsias. Purple is the #1 must have color for fall 2009.

Also predicted to be "in" this fall is blue, from watery blues, sky blues and a whole range of blues. Neutrals are going to be hot, from cooled-down and greyed-out browns, greys and mauves. Also, expect to see lots of bright colors, yellows, oranges, turquoises, teals, and reds will abound in multiple hues.
